RM1 sehari membawa erti

RM1 sehari besar ertinya.

Moga-moga2 bantuan anda diberkatiNya. Doa saya juga anda sekelian sentiasa didalam peliharaanNya setiap masa. Bak kata pantun Melayu:
pisang emas dibawa belayar
masak sebiji diatas peti
hutang emas boleh ku bayar
hutang budi ku bawa mati.

Dear Sir,

I am a new visitor and have just read your posting. Would be much obliged if you could furnish some details about the orphanage - I mean the person(s) in charge etc and if one wishes to contribute, how does one go about it. Thank you.

Dear Anon 5:30,

Well, TQ for the interest. It's not an orphanage actually. It's a loose kind of assistance which my friends and I initiated earlier this year. These friends got together and gave cash donations when we go for teh tarik sessions of meet up for dinner. They just pass me the money and I then pass it to the orphans. There's a record of who gives what of course. Email me at ahmadt51@gmail.com for more details. I first wrote about this in my blog onJan 8,2008.

The same goes for you too Mus! Den terimo ayo apo yg kau nak bagi.

Dear Ahmad,

I must say my thanks here.

For the benefit of your friends and visitors,I am Manan Buyong a resident of Kampung Behrang where Datuk Ahmad Talib - whom the Kg people refer as 'Tok Mat', and the closer ones just call 'Yeop'.

What Ahmad is doing.. is something unique. Let me explain.

There are hundreds, nay thousands, of successfull and rich people who have their kampungs. Some of them grew up in their kampungs while many did not, although they claim it as their kampungs by virtue of the fact that their parents grew there. They have extended families in their kampungs. And they have their 'tanah pusaka, there too.

Everyone have a kampung where their roots are.. Wait for the fruit seasons an you will know what I mean.

But sadly, although these kampungs are serene and beautiful to visit once in a while, kampung folks and kampung lives are not that progressive.

Although the kampungs produced many well educated sons and daughters, and the people are not living in abject poverty anymore, the general factors that exemplifies a progressive society like education, health, mindsets and attitudes are far from satisfactory. You only have to stay in a kampung for a few days to realise that Kampong people are left far behind in their ways..

And so it was that many a time Ahmad sat down with us when he came back to reflect on this matter. It dawn upon us that the Kampung people can be helped. Apart from all the inititives of government and NGOs there are many many 'anak anak kampong yg berjaya' who could help the kampungs that they loved.

We need only to think how this coul be done.

And one of the programmes which Ahmad has successfully carried out is this one for the kampung yatims.

Thank you Yeop!
