Save Palestine - know the issue

SAVE PALE STINE! Join the Palestinian Awareness Day (PAD) that's being planned for Jan 18. Time and place are being arranged and updates will be posted as soon as possible. It's important for us to really understand the Palestinian issue, a struggle that's been going on for many, many years. The PAD is being organised by the Malaysian Professionals Forum. Some of us may have received text messages asking for donations to help the Palestinian cause. My advice is simple - check out whether it's genuine or not. You may want to ask members or friends of PAD come Jan 18. This accompanying picture shows a rally in Melbourne where supporters of the Palestinian cause stage a peaceful demo to show their solidarity behind their Palestinian brothers and sisters. Will we see the same here?

Dato'

This is a humanitarian issue. How come only Muslim organisations have the biggest say?

Where are the rest of the so called human rights NGO's? Even non Muslim bloggers are so very quiet about Israel's blatant act of terror.

It is downright state sponsored terrorism but the non Malays see it as a religious and race issues....just ask them why the silence?? Why no condemnation from MCA,MIC,GERAKAN,DAP,as for PKR, it came out by somebody else not Anwar's even though it was in his blog.

Dah terang lagikan bersuluh. Mereka inilah bersifat munafik. Apa sahaja berkaitan dengan Islam memang mereka tidak akan menyokong. Lihat sahajalah pendukung keadilan sejagat Harris Ibrahim speechless bisu.

Assalamualaikum, it's a good cause you're supporting here. Keep up the good work. I'm a college student, and I have recently received a message regarding PAD. It would be relatively more convenient if you could share some details about it later on in your next posts because I am interested in joining in. In my college itself (Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences), we are trying everything we could (albeit ad hoc and relatively small-scale) so I guess the least we can do is show our care during PAD. To contradict Anonymous' comment, as a multiracial college, we regard this indeed as a humanitarian issue and the other nonmuslims are also doing their part. They probably do care, but they don't quite show it in the same degree we muslims do, since we automatically feel the bond with Palestinians as we share the same creed.

P/s: we would like to help. If you have anything else that is in need of 'tenaga muda', email me at atypical_@hotmail.com
