Too much tai chi in MCA is no good

TOO much politics will make one leave politics. Or be forced to leave politics. That's the situation facing MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat and his embattled deputy Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek. The results of the EGM last weekend showed that the MCA members want leaders who work hard for the party, not in jostling for position or outdoing one another to remain in power. OTK, his critics say, is still seen as the lone ranger Pemuda chief rather than the MCA president whose task is to unite the party, and not otherwise. The fact that he has CSL biting his heels gas given him much discomfort, his supporters say. CSL on the other hand, despite his sex VCD, is no less a big leader in his own right. In fact, his followers claim that CSL has more right to lead the party than OTK. But MCA members seemed to know best. They have shown both leaders the door. Too much personal tai chi, the members say, is bad for the party. They now are looking at other faces who can unite the party, push it to be relevant in the context of today's political landscape, and push it towards rejuvenation. In the equation, OTK and CSL may have to look for other platforms to pursue their agendas.

Of course the MCA members have to decide for the party. It is just sad that OTK who appears transparent, aggressive to pursue efforts against corruption and principled is shown the door....makes one wonder if there is no more room for principles players in politics.

Peace!

banyak orang bn melihat mca sebagai bermasaalah tetapi hakikatnya mca adalah terbaik dalam melaksanakan demokrasi, otk sepatutnya dipuji kerana berani memberi mandat kpd ahli utk mengadakan egm yg kita telah tahu kputusannya beliau tidak dilihat cuba mempertahankan diri malah beliau bersahaja didlm tindakannya
