WOW! What a surprise! While waiting to check in my bags at the Check-In counters at Dubai Airport, Bob played with his laptop and presto - it's connected! No buying of wi-fi cards! Just log in and you're connected.
This is simply great, and typical of Dubai's image as a truly world destination. I'm not sure if KLIA is as connected as Dubai, but the experiences of my friends have shown otherwise.
I doubt if it costs a lot to wi-fi the whole of KLIA. In any case, isn't KLIA within the MSC? Maybe one of our telcos should look into this, in collaboration with Malaysia Airports and the MSC. Well...
* klia ada ambik airport tax
ReplyDelete* klia lah patut sediakan wifi
barulah world!
klia wifi is bloody damn slow and screwed up...wait for ages for a page to load...come to think of it..better use the wire to hang these klia IT people..
ReplyDeleteDear Dato Mad,
ReplyDeleteKLIA all wired the way?? You've got to be kidding. We are very `glokal' in appearance but not in `mind'.
We have KLIA of `first world' but `mind and attitude' of third!!

I think MAB got no money. I'm using Celcom's Broadband and the connection even in Putrajaya is very bad. Both in my office (Precint 4)and my house (Precint 14). I had better connection when I was in Kuantan. Same with Maxis. When I complained, Celcom people said they're still developing it (!). Some peole told me the lines are really good around PM's office...
